Marketing co-op Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday is starting a brand new event on the Grand Strand next winter. From the same staff that runs the Myrtle Beach World Amateur, the Veterans Golf Classic and the Palmetto High School Golf Championships, and the Myrtle Beach Fall Classic comes an event carved out for anyone looking to kickstart their golf season a little early. The Myrtle Beach
Preseason Classic will be a two-person team competition with three tournament rounds, each with a different format. Tournament rounds will be played February 2-4, 2015 on some great Myrtle Beach golf courses.
In addition to the great golf, participants will be treated to a Sunday registration party with drinks and food while participants pick up their tournament gift and information. To close out the week, participants will be treated to lunch at the course while prizes and awards are given out.
“The recent release of the Myrtle Beach Fall Classic was a huge hit in November, and we were looking to fill another hole in the calendar when people are looking to play golf in Myrtle Beach,” said Jeff Monday, Tournament Director for Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. “The Preseason Classic will provide an opportunity for folks to knock the rust off in a fun, competitive environment. We will also offer a lot of great random drawing prizes, so everyone will have an opportunity to walk away a winner, even if their scores aren’t ideal.”
Registration is now open, and entries are open to the first 100 teams that enter.
